Do you struggle with masculine cards? Yes, masculine cards seem to be a problem for many stampers. Including me! While searching Pinterest, for some ideas, I came across a cute card by Rachel Tessman. I liked the scored lines above and below the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP). I changed the colors, layout and added the pearls to my design. Thanks, Rachel!
For a slightly different look, I turned the piece of Wood Textures DSP over and used the other side. Yup, I like it, but I think I prefer my original card. What do you think?
Cutting and Scoring Instructions: Basic Black (card base) 4-1/4″ x 11″, score and fold at 5-1/2″, Basic Black (layer behind Wood Textures DSP) 1-1/8″ x 3″; Very Vanilla (inside card) 4″ x 5-1/4″, Very Vanilla 3-1/8″ x 4-3/8″; Early Espresso 3″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 3/4″, 7/8″, 2-1/4″, 2-3/8″, and 2-1/2″; Wood Textures DSP (front of card) 1″ x 3″ and (inside of card) 1/2″ x 4-1/4″.

I used the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Guy Greeting stamp set for the inside of this card…
I used the sentiment from the Waterfront stamp set for the inside of this card…
