Paper Piecing Card showcasing Stampin’ Up! Beautiful You stamp set

Happy Friday, all!!

I can’t believe that when I first saw the Beautiful You stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I disliked it! I kept thinking “what in the world could I do with it.”  But, after searching Pinterest and Splitcoaststampers, my eyes were opened, and now I LOVE it!!

Thought I would step out of my comfort zone and use the bright Melon Mambo for the card base, dress, and Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine.

I stamped the girl on Melon Mambo designer series paper, cut the hat and dress out and glued them to the white card.

FYI, the Brights Designer Series Paper Stacks will be retiring at the end of May 2017. So, if you are interested in purchasing this item, you will need to get your order in quickly!

Gotta love the Stitched Shapes and Layering Squares Framelits Dies. Just a few quick passes through the Big Shot, and you’ve created a great focal point.

I hope you enjoy today’s card!  Until next time!

Feminine Birthday Card showcasing Stampin’ Up! Big on Birthdays stamp set

Good Morning, Stampers!

Today’s card showcases one of the large sentiments from the Big on Birthdays stamp set from Stampin’ Up!

It can sometimes be difficult to create a visually attractive card with a large stamp. Do you use an embossing folder, designer series paper, layers?

Well, I decided to use all three and I love the results. How about you?

I really love how the Petal Burst embossing folder, Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper, and layered sentiment combine to make this feminine birthday card.

I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen from Stampin’ Up! to add shine and a raised surface to the flower buds. The Rhinestones and Clear Wink of Stella add a final touch.

I hope you enjoy the video!

Decorative Scoring showcasing Stampin’ Up! Garden in Bloom stamp set

Hi, Stampers!

I’m back with another quick and easy birthday card showcasing the Garden in Bloom and Best Birds stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!

Stampin’ Up! colors used on this card:

I wanted to add some detail to my card and really did not want to use an embossing folder. So, I got out my Stampin’ Up! Simply Scored Board and scored three lines of different lengths down the right side of the card. I really like the subtle difference it makes.

I finished by stamping a bee on the inside of my card and applying Clear Wink of Stella to all of the stamped images.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! 🙂
