Stampin’ Up! — Painted Petals

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to today’s card and video 🙂

At the recent Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference, Shelli Gardner the CEO, showed a very cute card where she stamped the flower image then spritzed it with water. I loved the look and decided to try the technique for myself. This is the card I made. . .

I used the new Painted Petals stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This is such a great set and there are some amazing products that coordinate with it. I really like how the water spread and softened the floral image. I love the overall soft look of the card.

Be sure and check out my video . . .

Stampin’ Up! – Faux Laser Cut Card

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to today’s Faux Laser Cut Card and Video  🙂

I have always loved the look of laser cut cards and stationery. I really think they are elegant and beautiful. I wanted to create that look both quickly and easily and I feel  that I have accomplished that task. You can easily reproduce this same effect with various other exterior shapes, oval, circle, rectangle, square, any shape that appeals to you. You can then fill that shape with a variety of images, flowers, trees, words, you are only limited by your imagination.

For this card I used three different dies. . .

the Hearts Collection Framelits Dies:

Stampin’ Up! — Balloon Bash

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to today’s “It’s Masculine Monday” Birthday card and video  🙂

I just love the colors Crumb Cake and Basic Black together, to me they just look so masculine and elegant. Can you use masculine and elegant in the same sentence? Any who, I think it is just the best color combination. And ’cause this is a masculine card I decided to use them.

As you know from previous blog posts I think the Stampin’ Up! photopolymer stamps are the bomb!! They are so easy to line up, they stick to the block like nobody’s business, and with the addition of some fun foam as a cushion they stamp GREAT! And the best news, there are a ton of photopolymer stamps in the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. You have just got to get out your copy and check out all the fabulous stamp sets. WHAT, you don’t have a copy of the catalog? Then, if you do not already have a demonstrator, email me at [email protected] and I will be sure to get one sent out to you.

For this card I used the new Balloon Bash stamp set and  Chalkboard Paper, from the Occasions Catalog.

Hope you enjoy the video showing how I made this card . . .
