Stampin’ Up! Too Kind

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to today’s card and video  🙂

Thought I would create a card that was just a little bit different from my usual, but still cute and quick and easy.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Too Kind stamp set and the new Confetti Heart Punch that will be available on Jan. 6, 2015.

I’ve learned a great way to get an intricate design to release easily from a steel craft die and I share how to do it in my video below. No more poking with sharp tweezers all you need is your Big Shot and dryer sheets.Wish I could say this was my idea, but it wasn’t, it was Karen Burniston’s. . .some people are just blooming clever.

Enjoy the video . . .

Wow! Christmas is here! I LOVE this time of year, don’t you? My only disappointment, no snow, yet. But, I am hoping that sometime during the holidays some snow will arrive.

Today’s card is another version of my Christmas thank you cards. Yes, I know sending snail mail thank you cards is a little old fashioned, but don’t you love to get a handwritten, homemade card? I know I certainly do!! I used the Stampin’ Up Another Thank You stamp set and the All is Calm DSP from the Holiday Catalog.

Hope you enjoy my video 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Groovy Love

Hi Stampers!
Welcome to today’s Valentine Card 🙂

Seems as though I have been making Christmas cards since August. So, I decided to turn in an new direction and start making Valentine Cards.

I haven’t used a mask technique for ages and I wanted something that was cute, a little different, fast and easy to make.  To make this card you need to stamp the heart from Groovy Love on a post-it-note and cut it out, this will act as your mask. After stamping your hearts cut around them. Place a strip of Lullaby DSP and a small strip of Coastal Cabana card stock to the right inside edge of your card. With the card folded the hearts really stand out against the DSP!

Too Cute!  Hope you like it as much as I do! Now, go and make one for your special someone . . .
